To specify how many pages are saved in the History list

On the View menu in the browser, click Internet Options.

Click the General tab.

In the History area, change the number of days that Internet Explorer keeps track of your pages.
Tips

To empty the History folder, click Clear History. This will free up disk space on your computer.

at the top of the dialog box, and then click the item.
